Banana Planet Co. is BIPOC, LGBT+, and woman owned and operated. The owner, Sarah, and her partner, Jose, specialize in designing and creating handmade acrylic jewelry inspired by gaming, anime, pop culture, and all things cute. Banana Planet Co. has been creating since 2020, but in 2022, they were able to add a laser cutter to their at-home studio space, which helped grow their business into what it is today. Banana Planet Co. can be found selling their creations at conventions and local markets around Orlando, FL at their very pink table setup. Sarah and Jose hope to one day become full time artists and creators and eventually open a brick and mortar storefront where the work of artists from underrepresented communities will be featured along with their own work.
